"Dideann" is a Gaelic word indicating a weapon of defense or protection. Mor Megauth says that Ignatius's spellcraft "cannot harm me", but I wonder if that was his intent after all or if it was a defensive move either for himself (his soul?) or for others (Hal and friends?). Don't forget freaky-chick's observation (almost in awe, it seemed) of Ingatius two weeks ago -- "such power in this one" -- even though she's been hanging out with Rex the whole time. I don't know that I would necessarily say Ignatius is Mor Megauth's equal, but I do think he's being way over-estimated here, and possibly holding back for some reason yet unknown.
