Craig: Okay, so the mailbox is totally full of in-references.  Should I name them?

J.D.: Well, they’re all Pokemon and role-playing related, except “Yamato.”

Craig: Which, of course, is a reference to “Space Battleship Yamato”, the Japanese name of “Star Blazers” here in the States.

J.D.: This page was originally an interlude — the last in a series of interludes — and we did this page to let our readers know that the following week would bring an actual story page.

Craig: Although this page isn’t numbered, it falls between 3-11 and 3-12.  Readers from the beginning will recognize “Stello” as the last name of “Dean Stello”, the reporter who interviewed Rex back in the prologue.

J.D.: This interlude was posted a little over a year ago.  Which means that in about a month, the new pages will begin arriving once more.

Craig: I’m so excited!
