I’m wondering whether this will become something like speaking the name “Voldemort” in Deathly Hallows…

I’m wondering whether there’s any way Craig and J.D. could provide their commentary for the last few pages… 😉

I’m wondering why a centaur has such a phallic expanse of hair…

Very well drawn episode. This could be called “explanatory episode”. Not much action in this, but reader gets knowledge to how Lilith gets knowledge of what Mor-megauth is.

It seems that Mor-megauth has at least three forms: One of human-like (disguise, like Azriel), one similar to elemental archon (beating Ignatius) and one that he used to kill Taras father (Only hand was visible, but it was *BIG*). I wonder how many more of those forms archons have.

Is it just me or is Lilith getting slimmer? She looks quite… tiny …in panel three.

And is she a redhead? I somehow “translate” that shade of color to red in my mind.

Hmmm, so which is easier to break; an archonic charm or a domination? And if Lillith and the maintainer know about the domination Ignatius has over Marcus then why don’t they break it or find a way to release him from it?

Very excellent again Craig and JD. The plot thickens…

  6. Gileba Says:

I think the domination over Marcus can’t be broken because of the contract…

The precedent I know of with the true name of something is that you need to use someone’s true name to use any enchantment/thaumaturgy on that person – In this, does having your name removed from you seal up your magic, somehow?

There was a lot of concern that the Admin-person had taken Leon’s name away from him – I’m guessing this is related?

(By the way, I’m a new reader – Great comic! I wandered over from a mention of it in Dudley’s Dungeon)

  8. Craig Says:

Bran: Welcome! Yes, having your name taken from you can be devastating — read Rex’s discussion of it in 3-32 “Nameless”.

    Thanks for reading.
