Hmm, so Ignatus was bluffing? For an old guy his balls still seem to be intact. Still I wonder now what his escape plan is…
Also, what might Ignatus motivation be? He seemed most interested in the power eminating from the building. I don’t see him as being interested in rescuing someone that wouldn’t be useful to him.

And yet to die at Mor Megauth’s hand might be better than to be seduced by him. The real danger for Ignatius may be just beginning, and this pole of absolute evil may well give Marcus the clarity he needs to burst his bonds or at least die with honor. The jury is out on Iggy. Will he choose wisdom, or folly?

I just love the way Mor Megauth is drawn. He looks like a few Assyrian bas reliefs I know. Sweet.

Hmm…perhaps his time /is/ drawing near, and Leon unwittingly is in position to…er…step into his place.
Hey, here’s a weird, left-field thought: what if Marcus is bound somehow to Ignatius’s power rather than his person, so that upon Iggy’s demise Leon somehow has control over Marcus. That would be trippy.
Except I’m not sure that would make sense, because I’m not sure Leon got Ignatius’s power; rather, he would have received Lilith’s per the contract.
Anyway, don’t mind me. This is already fun. 🙂

I can’t quite make out what Rex/Morgoth is saying in Panel 5. It looks like “but I am going to CAT you slowly…,” but clearly that is wrong.

I, for one, will be disappointed if Ignatius is killed soon. This page only confirms that he’s too awesome to die!

Hmm…found something interesting. “Dideann” is a Gaelic word indicating a weapon of defense or protection. Mor Megauth says that Ignatius’s spellcraft “cannot harm me”, but I wonder if that was his intent after all or if it was a defensive move either for himself (his soul?) or for others (Hal and friends?). Don’t forget freaky-chick’s observation (almost in awe, it seemed) of Ingatius two weeks ago — “such power in this one” — even though she’s been hanging out with Rex the whole time.
I don’t know that I would necessarily say Ignatius is Mor Megauth’s equal, but I do think he’s being way over-estimated here, and possibly holding back for some reason yet unknown.
