3-43 Stop Her
Friday, May 30th, 2008We’d like to announce the birth of our new baby girl! She was born about four weeks early, but was nonetheless 8 lbs and 21 inches long! J.D. and Baby are doing just fine, and we’re starting to discover the new routine in our lives now that Baby is here with us.
We hope you enjoy this week’s comic.

Congratulations and blessings!
You’re getting a lot of advice, most likely, so I’ll refrain and just say welcome to the next two decades of your lives. Hope all goes well.
Great artwork. This strip really shines out with perspective, details, shading, and dialogue. Excellent.

Congratulations on the new entry into the world. Just keep her away from Drolems!
I would definitely say that the art and story is improving dramatically as the strip progresses. Even if I still have a soft spot for the text mode angband comic…

Huzzah!! Wonderful news! Many congratulations from our family to yours!
…Oh, and thanks for the new comic. Well done, as usual. 😉

Congratulations!
I fully understand that it will be hard for you to find time to draw new pages during the next few years… What about providing the missing commentaries?

That’s great news and all, but since SOMEBODY should honestly review the comic as well (lol) …
The Maintainer’s body and face doesn’t look too great in the last panel, but otherwise the artwork is awesome. Dialog is good, although I’m not too sure who is saying “Please don’t fire me.”

Congratulations!
Comic is good too.

Yay!!!!
Eight pounds at four weeks early, huh? I think J.D. should probably be glad she didn’t carry it full-term! 😉 (Tabloids report birth of toddler…)

Mazel Tov!
My wife is due on the 27th of June.
Hope you all get some rest, wish WE could store sleep against a future deficit.

Congrats. Thanks for doing a comic for us too! Is it rude to ask Baby’s name, or is that just for the sake of privacy for when you guys hit it big in the webcomic world and start touring all the cons? 😀
Now we know why the Maintainer likes those loose, flowing shirts. I just hope she doesn’t anger him too much when she stabs him with the kabob skewer.
Best of luck to the 3 of you. As much as we enjoy the comic, please stay healthy, sane, and loving.

Well congratulations! I’m glad to hear that J.D. and Baby are both well and I hope things stay that way. 🙂
It’s great to see another new comic too. The story development has me on the edge of my seat. I noticed Marcus uttered Mor-Mégauth’s name again. Now the maintainer also knows that Mor-Mégauth is on the loose as well.
I’m wondering if Mor-Mégauth is a half-breed and was one of the reasons that half-breeds were made illegal, or if maybe he was involved in that insurrection in some other way (like decieving and leading them all as he is doing now). I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Nameless: If I had to guess, “Please don’t fire me!” was spoken by Angelina… Or maybe Hector. Angelina is my first guess though. She works behind the counter in the place of the maintainer’s wife sometimes, indicating she probably works for her. I believe Hector is not under their authority as he is just a mailer daemon.

I may just not be remembering, but if the Maintainer is Marcus’ stepfather, then that would mean Lilith is his biological mother… and who’s his father?

“Please don’t fire me” could also have been Leon. I think I remember Lillith “offering” him a job, so he could earn real money to pay for the real food they had to feed him.

Congratz from an old friend back home!!! I’ve been following your comic for a while now – I always knew you’d find a way to utilize your amazing drawing talent.
Enjoy your new daughter – they grow up faster than you can imagine.

Grats!
It’s great to see an update, but even better to hear that the mother and her new arrival made it through. 😀

You two are still around, right?
Hope you’re doing well.
